Pakistan national nabbed in Samba near border

Jammu: While crossing the international border in Samba district of Jammu region, a Pakistani national was nabbed by the Border Security Force (BSF) on early Sunday morning.

A tennis ball, playing cards and some Pakistan currency notes was recovered

According to a senior police official, the alert BSF personnel nabbed a Pakistani national while he was sneaking into Indian side close to Balhad Post near Basantar River in Ramgarh Sector of Samba district.

During his initial interrogation, the arrested 21 years-old Pakistan national dislcosed his identity as one Mansher. His father’s name is Mohammad Iqbal, said the police official.

The police official further said that from the arrested Pakistani national, a tennis ball, playing cards and some Pakistan currency notes was recovered.

Initial reports suggests that the man in question may have crossed into the Indian side of the border inadvertently.

However, the arrested Pakistani national is being questioned by the security forces to ascertain the exact reasons behind the intrusion, added the police official.
