Pakistani again violates ceasefire, heavy firing on in Poonch

Jammu: With its known intention of pushing in as many terrorists as it could into the Indian soil before the onset of winters, Pakistani Army on Sunday again violated the ceasefire along the Line of control (LoC) in Poonch district of Jammu and Kashmir by resorting to heavy firing.

Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively

According to Defence Ministry sources, Pakistan army resorted to heavy heavy shelling and firing along the LoC in Mendhar and Mankote sector of Poonch district.

Confirming the development, a senior official said that after the Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked shelling and firing at Indian positions and in response the Indian Army retaliated strongly and effectively. He said that “heavy shelling and firing exchanges are going on in both the sectors.”

Recent reports have indicated that large number of terrorists have been waiting at the launch pads in the Pakistan occupied Kashmir to infiltrate. “With army in a mission mode to neutralise terrorists active in the Kashmir valley, top LeT, JeM and HM terrorists have been killed and in view of it the Pakistan establishment has been desperately trying to push in more and more terrorists to continue with its proxy war against us,” added the official.
