Five BSF troopers wounded in terrorist firing in Srinagar

Srinagar: Five Border Security Force (BSF) personnel were injured on Monday when terrorists fired at their vehicle on the outskirts of Srinagar.

Five BSF personnel belonging to the 163rd battalion received bullet injuries

According to a police official, terrorists attacked a BSF patrol vehicle in the Pantha Chowk area at Zeewan crossing around 6:15 pm.

The police official said that five BSF personnel belonging to the 163rd battalion received bullet injuries in their legs and they all were immediately shifted to a hospital.

“Immediately after the attack by the terrorists, the entire area was cordoned off and an intensive search operation is on to nab or neutralise the terrorists responsible for the act,” said the police official.
