Srinagar: The headless body of a youth abducted by terrorists earlier this week, was recovered on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora district.

According to the police, the body of 25-year old Manzoor Ahmad Bhat was found in an orchard in Hajin area.
Sources in the police said that Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists had abducted the slain youth and his father, Abdul Gafar Bhat from Hajin area on Wednesday on the apprehension of they being the informers of the security forces.
“Fortunately, the father of the killed youth somehow managed to escape from the clutches of his terrorists who abducted him along with his son,” said an official who added that he sufferred a bullet injury and was now being treated for that in a hospital.
It may be recalled that earlier this week, terrorists had abducted and killed another youth in the same area.
Security forces are on the look out for the terrorists responsible for the said acts, said a police official.
