Srinagar: The bullet-ridden body of a local policeman abducted by a group of three to four terrorists on Thursday night was found on Friday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kulgam district.

J&K police constable Javed Ahmad Dar was abducted on Thursday on night from his home in Shopian district’s Vehil village by three to four Hizbul Mujahideen terrorists, said a police official.
Dar’s body was found in Kulgam’s Pariwan village, the police said.
He was the personal security guard of District police chief of Shopian.
Meanwhile, in a separate incident, terrorists fired at Muhammad Thoker, a cleric in Hanfia mosque in Pulwama’s Parigam village.
The injured cleric was shifted to a hospital where his condition is stated to be critical.
