Srinagar: A day after three terrorists including a Pakistani national were neutralised by the security forces in Kulgam, an armed terrorist was arrested by the security forces on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Kupwara district during a cordon and search operation.
The AK-47 carrying, heavily armed terrorists was identified by the police as Waqar Malik.
A senior police official said that the joint search operation was launched in Humpora village by the Rashtriya Rifles, Central Reserve Police Force and special operation group of the state police.
The police official said that further investigations were in progress.
