Srinagar: Two Lashkar-e-Taiba (LeT) terrorists were killed in a fierce encounter with security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district on Thursday.

A senior police official said that the terrorists were neutralised in Dangarpora village in Sopore area.
He said that the exact identity of the slain terrorists is being ascertained but both of them belong to the LeT outfit.
Though the encounter has ended, search operation at the encounter site was on added the police official.
The police official said that after getting information about the presence of terrorists in the village, security forces comprising the Rashtriya Rifles, the Special Operations Group of the police and the Central Reserve Police Force launched a cordon and operation.
