Srinagar: Terrorists on Wednesday shot dead a young woman and injured a minor boy in Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district on the suspicion of she being a police informers.
According to a police official, the woman identified as Nigeena was critically wounded in the shooting in Narbal village of Kakapora area.
“Grievously injured Nigeena was sifted to a hospital where the doctors declared her dead on arrival,” said the police official.
He said that a minor boy was also injured in the attack and was being treated at the hospital.
Meanwhile, the security forces have launched a massive search operation to nab or neutralise the terrorists responsible for the brutal act.
