Srinagar: A Pakistani terrorists affiliated to Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) terror outfit was among two terrorists killed on Saturday in a fierce encounter with the security forces in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.

The JeM terrorist identified as Luqmaan, a Pakistani was killed in the encounter in Bujthalan area of Boniyar under the Uri sector in Baramulla district. He was active in north Kashmir since the past one year.
A huge cache of arms and ammunition have been recovered by the security forces from the encounter site.
A senior police official said that the encounter started in the morning between the terrorists and the security forces comprising the Rashtriya Rifles, the CRPF and special operations group of state police.
He said that the encounter ended but searches were still going on in the area.
