Srinagar: Security forces on Wednesday killed two terrorists in an encounter in the Qasba Yar area of Jammu and Kashmir’s Pulwama district.
The neutralised terrorists have been identified as Yasir Parray, commander of proscribed terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM), while the other is a Pakistani terrorist and IED expert named Furqan, Kashmir Police said.
The police said that both were allegedly involved in IED attacks against security forces.
Two AK rifles and other war-like stores were recovered from the scene of the encounter, said an official adding that a search operation is underway in the area.
