Srinagar: At least three civilians were injured on Wednesday in Shopian district when terrorists lobbed a grenade at a security forces camp.
According to a senior police official, the incident took place in Imam Sahib area of the district and immediately after that the security forces cordoned off the area. “Intensive search operation is on to nab or neutralise the terrorists responsible for the act,” said the police official.
Meanwhile, a ruling PDP leader was shot at and greiviously injured by terrorists in Srinagar.
The terrorists fired at the PDP leader Abdul Qayoom in Barzulla area of the city at around around 8.10 pm, said a police official.
He said the injured PDP leader was rushed to a hospital where is condition is stated to be critical.
