Srinagar: Visibly shaken by the alertness of the Indian troops at the Line of Control where every possible infiltration attempt in the past few days failed, Pakistan Army resorted to unprovoked firing in which an Indian Army porter was killed late on Saturday.

Besides killing an Indian Army porter, another one was injured in the Pakistan Army aggression in Keran sector of Poonch district, said an official.
Though the latest ceasefire violation was retaliated to in equal measures by the Indian Army, the extent of damage to the enemy camp is to be established,” added the official.
He said that the Indian Army at the LoC is on a high alert and is in absolute preparedness to meet any eventuality, the official further.
