Jammu: Security forces on Friday recovered huge cache of arms and ammunition during a search operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Poonch district.
According to defence sources, the Army has recovered a large quantity of arms and ammunition, including 9mm pistols, magazines, rounds, one AK-56 rifle, one revolver, 14 hand grenades and one 7.62 mm foreign made rifle.
The recovery was made in the Mandi tehsil.
Further investigations into the recovery of arms and ammunition were on, said an official.
