Srinagar: At least 14 civilians were injured on Saturday in a grenade explosion outside the District Magistrate’s office in Jammu and Kashmir’s Anantnag district.

According to the police, the injured included a local journalist named Zahoor Rizvi and a traffic policeman.
The police said that the terrorists hurled the grenade at the entrance of the office complex at around 11 am.
All the injured were shifted to a hospital where the condition of one of the injured is stated to be critical.
Immediately after the grenade attack, the security forces swung into action and cordoned off the are with intensive search operations in progress, said a police official.
