Ghazni (Afghanistan): At least to 26 terrorists have been killed and more than 20 others injured as troops, backed by air force, targeted Taliban hideouts in Afghanistan’s eastern province of Ghazni, the Army said on Wednesday.
The government forces have been targeting Taliban terror hideouts in Andar, Gilan, Qarabagh districts as well as in villages outside the provincial capital of Ghazni city since Tuesday, agencies reported.
In this operation by Afghan forces, large quantity of arms and ammunition of the terrorists have also been destroyed, an Army statement added.
