Chandigarh: The BSF on Friday detained a Pakistani man from the border belt of Ferozepur in Punjab on suspicion of spying.
According to police sources, the arrested individual is a young 21-years-old man and is being subjected to questioning by the Border Security Force (BSF) and other security agencies.
Sources said that from the arrested Pakistani, a mobile phone has been recovered with Pakistani phone number.
The investigators said that the arrested Pakistani’s social media accounts showed he has clear links to Islamic groups.
Further investigations were in progress, said sources.
