According to sources, Union Home Minister Amit Shah will hold a crucial meeting with top Jammu and Kashmir leaders of BJP at his residence in Delhi at 9 pm today. Political and security-related issues along with other issues are likely to be discussed during the meet, suggest sources.

As many as seven people have died so far in firing carried out by terrorists in Dhangri village of the Rajouri district on January 1.

Two cousins were killed and nine other persons were injured in a powerful IED blast in the same village the next morning. The IED was planted by terrorists before fleeing.

Yesterday, two heavily armed terrorists were killed as the Army foiled a second major infiltration attempt along the Line of Control in the Poonch district in over a week.

The infiltration bid was scuttled in Balakote sector late on Saturday evening and a massive search operation was underway when the last reports were received, an Army spokesperson said.
