New Delhi: The Delhi police arrested three people, including two juveniles in Punjab’s Patiala district early on Friday in connection with the sensational killing of Dera Sachha Sauda member Pradeep Kataria a day ago.

Kataria, 38, was an accused in the 2015 Bargari sacrilege case and was out on bail.
The suspected shooters were nabbed after Delhi Police raided Bakshiwala area, about 30 km from Patiala city, around 3 am following intelligence inputs.
On Thursday morning, he was shot dead while he was opening his dairy shop in Faridkot’s Kotkapura. His security guard and another person sustained bullet injuries in the incident. Canada-based gangster Goldy Brar claimed responsibility for the murder in a purported social media post.
In an overnight intelligence-based operation, the Counter Intelligence Unit of Special Cell, Delhi Police, led by ACP Rahul Vikram, apprehended the following three accused, who were amongst the six assailants who had killed Kataria. The shooters fired as many as 55 bullets.
One of the three accused has been identified as Jitender, 26, who is a resident of Kalanaur village in Haryana’s Rohtak. Police said that all the six shooters involved in the murder had been identified. Four shooters are from Haryana and two are from Punjab.
Three pistols and several live rounds of ammunition were recovered from the three accused. The accused Jitender is reportedly an old associate of Lawrence Bishnoi.
