New Delhi: Three ISIS terrorists were arrested by the special cell of Delhi Police after a brief encounter on Wednesday.
Sources said that the trio were arrested from Wazirabad area in North-East Delhi.
Suspicious objects and material were also recovered from them.
Sources said that the terrorists have been kept at the interrogation centre in the Lodhi Colony area where three teams of the special cell have interrogated them so far.
Working on information provided by the terrorists, the police have already started conducting raids at various places.
The arrested ISIS terrorists were in constant touch with the Pakistan based handler through social media network and were planning to carry out terror attack in the national capital on Republic Day, sources added.
