Srinagar: Four Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) personnel including a sub-inspector were martyred and three others injured when terrorists attacked a CRPF Training Centre in Pulwama district of Jammu and Kashmir in the wee hours of Sunday.

The CRPF training camp is situated near the Srinagar-Jammu highway, said an official
Two terrorists have been neutralised in the ongoing encounter. “The entire area has been sealed and an intensive search operation is on to flush out terrorists, who might possibly be hiding there,” said a police official.
He said that heavily armed terrorists entered the camp at around 2.10 am, after hurling grenades and resorting to indiscriminate firing.
Security forces including 50 Rashtriya Rifles, CRPF and state police had jointly carried out the operation.
Meanwhile, Pakistan based terror outfit Jaish-e-Muhammad (JeM) has claimed responsibility for the attack on the 185 battalion CRPF training camp in Pulwama district’s Lethpora area.
Authorities have suspended internet facility in the district as a precautionary measure.
