Jaipur: An Indian Air Force (IAF) MiG-27 aircraft on Tuesday evening crashed near Pokhran in Rajasthan, officials said. The pilot ejected safely.

According to reports, the plane took off on a training mission from Jaisalmer and crashed around 6.10 pm near the Pokhran range. The exact cause of the crash is said to be some technical snag.
An IAF spokesman said a court of inquiry has been ordered to establish the cause of the crash.
