Jammu: Yet another Pakistan Army’s Border Action Team (BAT) attacked was foiled on Sunday by the alert Indian Army on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
According to defence sources, to facilitate a BAT attack on Indian soldiers, there was an IED explosion in Kerni sector followed by firing by Pakistani troops.
However, ther alert Indian troops at the forward position retaliated effectively, forcing the intruding in BAT team to withdraw back to Pakistani side.
Sources said that the firing exchanges continued between the Indian and Pakistani sides for nearly an hour.
Also, no casualty or damage has been reported on the Indian side, source added.
