Pak violates ceasefire, heavy firing in J&K’s Nowshera sector
Jammu: Pakistan Army on Friday night resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation in Nowshera sector of Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.

Till reports last came in from the area, heavy firing exchanges were continuing
According to reports, heavy firing exchanges started on the Line of control between the Indian Army and Pakistan troops in Jammu and Kashmir’s Rajouri district.
Defence Ministry spokesman, Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand said in Jammu that about 9 pm on Friday, Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation followed by shelling with mortars along the LoC in Nowshera sector of Rajouri district.
He said that the Indian army is retaliating strongly befittingly.
