Agartala: Three arms smugglers were arrested in Tripura and Japanese pistols, a huge number of bullets and six sets of mobile phones were recovered from them, police said here on Friday.
Police spokesman Subrata Chakraborty said the smugglers were arrested in Puran Raj Bari village, 85 km south of here, during a routine patrol on Thursday night.
The village is close to the Bangladesh border.
