Two suspected Pak spies arrested outside Army camp in Jammu

Jammu: Two persons suspected of spying for Pakistan were arrested on Tuesday while they were shooting videos and taking photographs outside an Army camp in Jammu.

One of the arrested person hails from Kathua, while the other is from Doda

According to an officials, the arrested duo were suspected of spying for Pakistan.

The two suspected spies were currently in police custody and are being questioned by the sleuths.

A police official said that the two were arrested after an army patrol noticed them moving suspiciously at Parmandal Morh near Ratnuchak Military Station. They were taking pictures and videographing the military station, said the official.

One of the arrested person hails from Kathua, while the other is from Doda.

It was also discovered that prior to arrest, the two individuals had even shared some videos with some people based in Pakistan.

They have been identified as Mushtaq Ahmad of Doda district and Nadeem Akhtar of Kathua district.

Sources said that during preliminary interrogation they have admitted to being in touch with their handlers in Pakistan.
