Srinagar: Barely hours after four infiltrating terrorists were killed by the Army in Uri sector, security forces shot dead two terrorist on Friday in Baramulla town of Jammu and Kashmir.

A senior police official said that the Central Reserve Police Force (CRPF) signaled a Scorpio vehicle to stop at Kralhar near the Khwaja Bazar railway station in the town and asked the occupants to show their identity cards.
He said that since two terrorists were traveling the Scorpio vehicle, they opened fire at the CRPF personnel to escape.
However, in retaliatory fire, the security forces killed both the terrorists and recovered large quantity of arms and ammunition.
He said that an AK-47 rifle, two pistols, one UBGL and large quantity of ammunition was recovered from the neutralised terrorists.
The identity of the neutralised terrorists is being established, added the police official.
Meanwhile, search operation were continuing in the area.
