Srinagar: Barely a day after operation against the terrorists was called off, security forces killed two terrorists on Monday in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora.

According to Defence Ministry spokesman Colonel Rajesh Kalia, the Army in an anti-terror operation in Jammu and Kashmir’s Bandipora, killed two terrorists in the Panar forest area of Bandipora.
The ongoing operation is being carried out by a joint team of the Indian Army’s 14 RR, 22 RR and Para Commandos. Till reports last came in, the encounter with the terrorists was on in the area.
A senior police official said that earlier on June 9, terrorists fired at an Army patrol party and in the encounter that followed, on June 9 two terrorists were killed and a soldier martyred in the operation.
Meanwhile, in North Kashmir’s Anantnag also a cordon and search operation was on to nab or neutralise the terrorists.
