Srinagar: To track and neutralise hiding terrorists, the security forces early on Monday morning started a massive search operation in around two dozen villages of south Kashmir’s Pulwama district.

Following reports about the presence of terrorists, Army’s 44RR, 55RR, 53RR, 182BN, 183BN of CRPF and SOG of the state police have launched massive search operation early morning in atleast two dozen villages of Pulwama which include Rahmoo, Bellow, Putrigam, Matrigam, Frasipura, Goosu, kuchepura, Murran, Thokerpora and Drabgam, said a police official.
He said that till reports last came in there had not been any exchange of fire in any of the villages where the search operations were on.
It may be mentioned here that this was not the first such operation in the south Kashmir area undertaken by the security forces.
