New Delhi: In a report by the Border Security Force (BSF), it has been revealed that there is a nexus between Pakistan-based terror outfit Jaish-e-Mohammad (JeM) and members of Rohingya Muslim community.

In the BSF report, it is mentioned that the JeM handlers based in Pakistan have been radicalising Rohingya Muslims.
According to the report, JeM terrorist and self-styled commander Saber Ahmed, a Pakistani, is targeting Rohingya Muslim community members in Cox’s Bazar of Bangladesh and radicalising them to carry out anti-India activities.
Sources said that a terrorist named Maulana Yunus, who is a member of the Bangladesh unit of the JeM, recently recruited four members of the Rohingya community for undergoing training for carrying out terror attacks.
In the report, it is mentioned that a terror camp has been established for providing training to Rohingya Muslims in Harinmara hills in Bangladesh.
The Cox’s Bazar area, where the radicalising operation is being carried out by the JeM, currently has thousands of Rohingya Muslims.
The JeM has activated its sleeper cells in Bangladesh with the help of Pakistan’s ISI to carry out terror attacks in India through the trained Rohingya radicals.
In a related development, intelligence reports have suggested that the ISI is plotting to carry out major attack on security personnel in India with the help of Pakistan-based terror outfits. JeM operation commander Abdul Rauf Asgar has been entrusted with the responsibility of carrying out attacks on Indian defence and security personnel.
For the aforementioned purpose, Asgar with 40 odd terrorists have been waiting at terror launch pads along the Line of Control (LoC) in Pakistan-occupied-Kashmir (PoK). “These terrorists are waiting for infiltrating into Kashmir with the help of Pakistan army’s Border Action Team (BAT),” said sources.
