Sriganar: An Indian Army soldier was martyred on Wednesday when Pakistan resorted to unprovoked ceasefire violation along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Uri sector.
According to defence sources, an Indian Army soldier was martyred in Pakistan army shelling along the Line of Control (LoC) in Uri sector.
Sources said that the Pakistan Army started firing in Silikot area of Uri in Baramulla district at around 11 am, targeting the civilian areas.
To the unprovoked firing and shelling by the enemy forces, the Indian Army has be strongly retaliating.
Till reports last came in, heavy firing was going on in the sector.
