Jammu: Frustrated by a series of failed infiltration attempt to push in terrorists, The Pakistani army on Wednesday again violated the ceasefire along the Line of Control (LoC) in states’s Poonch sector in which three Indian soldiers were injured.

According to Defence sources, Pakistani Army started heavy shelling and firing on the LoC in Poonch district.
“Three soldiers were from the Naga Regiment were injured and were immediately shifted to a hospital,” said sources.
The Pakistan Army resorted to heavy shelling and firing on Wednesday at Degwar, Talwan and Mandiyalan areas, using mortars, automatics and small arms, said a defence ministry official.
“Our forces have retaliated strongly and effectively,” a Defence Ministry official said.
However, no civilian casualty or injury was reported.
The Poonch authorities have ordered an indefinite closure of all schools in these areas.
