Srinagar: Yet another infiltration bid was foiled early on Tuesday morning by the security forces who succeeded in killing one of the infiltrating terrorists in Jammu and Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
According to a senior police offcial, One terrorist was killed early Tuesday in the Zorawar are of Uri Sector of north Kashmir’s Baramulla district.
He said that when the security forces spotted some suspicious movement at the Line of Control, the infiltrating terrorists were challenged and in the ensuing exchange of fire, one terrorist was gunned down.
A weapon has been recovered from the encounter site, said the official adding that the search operation is going on in the area to locate and eliminate the remaining infiltrators.
It may be mentioned here that four Pakistani terrorists were killed by the security forces in Uri’s Kaghi forest area during an operation on Sunday.
