Pakistan again violates ceasefire in J&K’s Poonch, heavy exchange of fire

Jammu: Pakistan once again violated the ceasefire on Saturday evening at the line of Control in Poonch district by resorting to heavy firing.

He said that the Indian Army has retaliating strongly and befittingly

Defence Ministry spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Devender Anand said: “At about 8 pm today (Saturday), Pakistan initiated unprovoked ceasefire violation by shelling with mortars and firing of small arms along LoC in Mankote and Krishna Ghati sectors of Poonch district.

He said that the Indian Army has retaliating strongly and befittingly.

Till reports last came in, heavy firing exchanges were on in Mankote and Krishna Ghati sectors.
