Indian Army has been strongly and effectively retaliating to unprovoked Pakistan aggression

Pakistan shelled Indian positions on the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir’s Balakote sector of Poonch district in which three children were injured.

A senior police official said that the Indian Army has been strongly and effectively retaliating to unprovoked Pakistan aggression.

He said that the injured have been shifted to hospital for treatment.

Defence ministry sources said that the firing exchanges between the two sides are still going on in the sector till reports last came in.

As a precautionary measure, all schools in areas close to the LoC in Poonch have already been closed as Pakistan has been targeting civilian facilities, added the police official.
