Jammu: Refusing to learn any lesson what so ever, Pakistani troops on Sunday once again violated the ceasefire and resorted to heavy firing on Sunday along the Line of Control (LoC) in Jammu and Kashmir.

According to Defence spokesman Lieutenant Colonel Manish Mehta, Pakistan army initiated indiscriminate firing and shelling on Indian positions on the LoC in Rajouri district’s Bhimber Gali sector at 9.45 am.
He said that the firing was on and Indian forces have been effectively retaliating to Pakistan’s unprovoked aggression.
In this fresh ceasfire violation, Pakistan troops have been using 82 mm mortars to target Indian positions.
Earlier on Saturday evening, Pakistani troops resorted to heavy shelling and firing in three areas of Krishna Ghati sector in Poonch district.
The Pakistani forces first initiated small arms and automatic gunfire, but later used 82 mm mortars,” added defence official.
