Anantnag: Barely hours after the killing of two Lashkar-e-Taiba terrorists by the security forces in Kulgam, LeT terrorists active in the Kashmir valley retaliated and killed at least six policemen, including a Station House Officer (SHO) near Achabal town in south Kashmir on Friday evening.
According to reports, at least 15 LeT terrorists ambushed a police party near Achabal town in south Kashmir and succeeded in killing six policemen including a SHO. “Terrorists before leaving the site, disfigured the faces of the slain policemen and walked away with their weapons,” said a police official.
The police official said that the attack took place in Thajiwara, which is around five km from here.
In this ambush by the terrorists, two civilians were also injured as the terrorists resorted to indiscriminate firing.
